Will here I am back on about my never ending saga with the WAIKATO DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD and
their fucked up logic.
We moved to Tokoroa primarily to be closer to a hospital in our senior years and now live within a 15 minutes walk of what could be referred to as a decent sized hospital for the number of persons living in Tokoroa. Ok I can live with the fact that people whom their Doctors have refereed to the WDHB are required to travel to Hamilton to be assessed, both Daphne and myself between us had about nine trips up there prior to our heart valve operations. In fact on Daphne's second visit the Consultant asked her how did she feel how that she had recovered from her operation, this was after about a hour & half being weighed, measured, blood pressure taken and who knows what else recorded and filling in identical forms before each bloody procedure. That and other similar incidents has convinced me that those in charge up there don't have a clue what their other hand is doing. (Christ you would have thought one of these certificated diploma holders would have noticed while doing these procedures that her chest was still scar free.
Another thing is these simple heart monitors the bastards don't seem to give a fuck that they have summonsed people from as far away as New Plymouth and Taupo, (I known that is a fact because I make a point of talking to others that have been sitting there for hours some of whom have had to come up the day before and stay at a motel because some idiot has schedule their appointment time for 9.00am.) What also appears to be routine is that they send out the appointments with multiple numbers of them having the same appointment time, then to comply with their own rule of seeing patients within a certain time frame have you wait for what is obviously the maximum time they can keep you unseen before they get a roundup they then move you through to another waiting area where the first round of questions and procedure is done, within the time allowed. then they move you through 2 but sometimes 3 more what some idiot has call sub wait stations. Actually that opens another door or the entrance to a rabbit hole, because every time I go into that place I get the horrible feeling that the whole place is temporally not being used for what its ultimate function is going to be, and it has just occurred to me that the term sub wait stations could be more in line with it eventually intended use. I think the place is designed to be a psychological indoctrination centre with its already installed hundreds of picture theater or lecture hall like seating and large monitors that are being used merely to tell those waiting to move to another waiting area, rather than the medical facility it is pretending to be. Remember very little today is what it seems to be.
